Resource Guarding

Finally found the right help for my dog's new life! 

Ive searched for months now for some help with my 3 year old Lab, he's terrified of objects, people and anything to do with the outside world, until I came across Behavet. After my first consultation with Dr Jessie and training with my dog for only 2 weeks now, he's doing amazing he's becoming easier to manage, his confidence is really starting to show out and I'm amazed at how quick i saw the changes. He has a long way to go yet but I'm very confident with the help of Behavet my boy will get there, I highly recommend them to anyone!

Helped my really difficult bitey, reactive dog! 

Really challenging situation of having inherited my mum's really difficult (bitey) reactive dog. I was so grateful to be able to talk to a vet behaviourist so quickly when I was feeling really helpless.

Liz really took my opinion regarding starting medication sooner rather than later into account, which I was thankful for. I can't get insurance for my dog due to previous bite history so am paying out of pocket and the prices are in line with other vet behaviourist.

Struggling with dysfunctional multi-dog household

So worth it!!

Very good, this is not the first dog I have spoken to Behavet about. I was really struggling with a dysfunctional multi-dog household.

We have a plan and we are working through it. When do you ever have an hour to talk about your dog with a vet, never, so it is great just for that! The plan isn't hard or very time consuming either.

Nervous aggression significantly reduced! 

Cooper my gorgeous golden doodle was struggling with nervous aggressiveness towards people and dogs.  Normal training was not working . My personal vet behaviourist Dr Anita is truly amazing thanks to her personalised programme, most walks are uneventful these days , we can even take him to cafes now which in the past wouldn’t of been possible!

Lunging & barking solved with lasting results

The remote work I did with Dr. Lily at Behavet, has had lasting results with my 2-year-old poodle, Harry. We started working together in December when Harry was lunging and barking at people and dogs off and on leash, at runners, children on scooters, people getting in and out of cars. Using the strategies Dr. Lily recommended, I saw an improvement in Harry's behaviour almost immediately. He's a calmer, happier, and more affectionate dog!

Severe separation anxiety is now a thing of the past! 

I have gone from having a little dog who would wet himself and hyper salivate every time I left him to having a dog who is now calm and sleeps most of the time I am out. With the help from Dr Anita who has tailored the most amazing training plans for me and my dog we have worked at my dog’s pace to gradually change the way he feels about being separated from me. Thank you so much from me, my family and of course Arthur 🐾
