Will my pet insurance cover this?
As qualified veterinarian behaviourists, we're able to diagnose and treat behavioural conditions just as your vet would a physical condition, so most insurers will cover our consultation costs. Depending on your policy and cover limits, you could claim back all or some of your costs.
Direct claims with leading insurers. If your dog is insured with Petplan, Agria, The Kennel Club, Napo, LV, Everypaw or Sainsbury's, you could pay just ÂŁ25 outâofâpocket, and we'll handle all the claims paperwork for you.
Not insured? No problem. Spread the cost of our Behaviour Boost Consult Package over 4 months interest-free, or pay in full and save 5%. No hidden fees or extra costs.

Your questions answered
Everything you need to know about getting expert behaviour help for your dog.
Do video consultations really work?Â
Yes! Behavet used to offer in-person consultations, but found that clients who met online got faster and better results. On a video call, your Behaviourist meets you and your dog in a calm, familiar setting, without the stress of new people or places. Your session can be recorded too, so you can rewatch it as often as you like, no note-taking needed.
Do I need a referral from my vet?Â
No. Many of our clients are referred by their vet, but you can also come to us directly and weâll organise the rest.
What happens after I refer?Â
Just fill in our short form and weâll guide you through the next steps. Our team will match you with the Behaviourist best suited to your dogâs needs, and you could have your first consultation in as little as 48Â hours, or within 24Â hours for emergencies.
What do I need for the consultation?Â
Just a quiet spot for a video call with your dog at home. Beforehand, weâll ask for your dogâs veterinary history and a pre-consultation questionnaire, and youâre welcome to send videos or photos. Your Behaviourist reviews it all so their health and any medication are factored into the plan.
What support do I get afterwards?Â
Youâll get a tailored plan that your Behaviourist tweaks and builds on as your dog progresses. Between consultations you can email your Behaviourist with updates and questions, free of charge. Plans are designed to be fun, and take around 10Â minutes a day, 5Â days a week.
Can my vet be kept informed?Â
Yes. When your vet refers you, their practice is kept informed at every step of your dogâs treatment, including any medication or follow-up tests we recommend, so your care stays joined-up.
Is it suitable for my dogâs problem?Â
Weâve never refused a case. Our Veterinarian Behaviourists help with everything from puppy behaviours to complex and potentially dangerous struggles. No problem is too big or too small.
Will my insurance cover it?Â
Often, yes. We make direct claims with Petplan, Agria, The Kennel Club, Napo, LV, Everypaw and Sainsburyâs and handle the paperwork, so you could pay as little as ÂŁ25Â out of pocket. Not insured? Spread the cost over 4Â months interest-free, or get 5% off when you pay in full.
